1. Research Overview
This study assesses the availability and quality of post-hospitalization rehabilitation services across our participating network. We investigate how disparities in access to specialized care impact the functional recovery of stroke survivors in the months following their discharge.
2. Key Objectives
- Map the distribution of specialized physical and occupational therapy facilities in participating regions.
- Evaluate patient functional recovery scores (Modified Rankin Scale) at 3 and 6 months post-stroke.
- Identify socioeconomic barriers to sustained rehabilitation adherence.
3. Expected Outcomes
The study aims to produce data-driven recommendations for the development of sustainable, regional-specific rehabilitation models that optimize post-stroke recovery and reduce long-term dependency.
Collaborate on this Study
Institutional partners with rehabilitation departments are highly encouraged to join this research effort.
