Publication & Authorship

Guidelines to ensure academic equity, data integrity, and harmonized research output across the WeCASOR network.

All research output derived from the WeCASOR Registry and nested sub-studies must adhere to the network's publication and authorship guidelines.

Publication Tracks

1. Core Network Papers

Led by the Steering Committee, utilizing the full regional dataset for high-impact analysis.

2. Site-Specific Papers

Led by local Principal Investigators (PIs), focusing on site-level data and interventions.

3. Ancillary Studies

External collaborations requiring formal proposal approval by the Scientific Advisory Board.

Mandatory Compliance

  • ICMJE Guidelines: All manuscripts must strictly follow the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors standards.
  • Corporate Authorship: The "WeCASOR Registry Group" must be cited as a corporate author in all primary outputs.
  • Review Period: Prior to submission, all manuscripts must be reviewed by the Publications Committee (30-day review period).
